each woman carried a piece of burnt sage, which represented her life passion ... Feeling empowered and with great intention (each person) let it go, and witnessed the birth of her dream into the universe. |
So, late in the afternoon one day, as the sun worked its magic on the landscape, we completed a session around passion and dream-work with a short ride to Boynton Canyon, the most sacred place in all the world according to Native American legend. Here, in this canyon Apache history tells us, was where the first woman was literally born out of the earth. One by one, we climbed out of the van in complete silence. With her, each woman carried a piece of burnt sage, which represented her life passion and the important dream she most wanted to create.
Feeling empowered and with great intention, I watched each woman silently, and ever so mindfully, begin her hike into Boynton Canyon, carrying her dream to that place that felt right, where she let it go, and witnessed the birth of her dream into the universe.
